About Me

I was born in Rhode Island into a military family and spent my childhood moving between places. I grew up in Italy and since my mom was from the Philippines, I constantly traveled between the U.S., Italy, and the Philippines. All of this has led me to have an affinity for multicultural relations and sparked my interest in studying transitional issues due to me being labeled as a third culture kid. I graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor's degree in Global Affairs and shortly after moved to South East Asia (Cambodia, and then Thailand) to teach English. And here began my passion for education. When I moved back to the States, I landed a job under my alma mater and continued my education by pursing a Master's degree.

In my free time I enjoy exploring new places, working out, reading (fantasy), and hanging out with my dog.
