  • Organize the logistics of orientation including but not limited to scheduling, reserving spaces, collaborating with on campus departments (such as Mason Card Office, Student Health Services, Mail Services, ITS, etc.) and off campus vendors, catering, purchasing, etc.

  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of orientation through various data collection methods (observations, online surveys, focus groups)

  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of 30+ student orientation leaders

  • Coordinate programs such as Destination Mason, International Buddy Program, Holiday Exchange, etc. to connect international students to the local community, to encourage student engagement on campus, and to assist with their transition
