Practicum
Practicum Proposal
During the late spring and summer semesters of 2021 (April 5 - July 30), Cassie will be conducting her practicum with the Associate Director of New Student Programs in the New Students and Family Programs (NSFP) department at George Mason University. The purpose of this practicum is to assist the Associate Director in the planning and implementation of Quill Camp, an extended orientation experience for new, incoming Mason students. This practicum will give Cassie an opportunity to work with professionals in the orientation, transition, and retention area in higher education and to learn institutional policies and procedures when it comes to organizing and planning comprehensive programs.
